Bring it to your young people.

Dreampreneur runs its cohorts inside the organizations Houston families already trust. You bring the young people and a room. We bring the curriculum, the instructor, the materials and the pitch night — at no cost to you or to your families.

The arrangement

A short, clear division of labor.

Most youth programs arrive at your door with a binder and a bill. This one arrives with an instructor and a question about what your young people actually need.

What Dreampreneur brings

  • The full eight-week curriculum and every session plan
  • A live instructor for every weekly session
  • Workbooks, planning sheets and budget materials for each young person
  • The pitch night — format, judges, and running it on the day
  • A written recap for your team after every session

What we ask from you

  • Eight to fifteen young people in one age track
  • A room with a screen and reliable internet, once a week for sixty minutes
  • One staff member or volunteer in the room during sessions
  • Help getting the invitation to your families
  • Your honest feedback, including the parts we do not want to hear

Cost to your organization: none. Cost to your families: none. Cohorts are funded by Dreampreneur and its donors.

What your young people leave with

Five habits, not a certificate.

Each one is in the curriculum because there is evidence behind it. The full research is cited on the sources list.

01

A plan they wrote themselves

In their handwriting, revised as the idea changes. Founders who write a formal plan are 16% more likely to reach viability than otherwise identical non-planners.

02

A weekly commitment said out loud

Stated to the group, reported back the following week. Written goals plus weekly accountability nearly doubled achievement rates in the research we build on.

03

A budget they can actually explain

Cost, price, margin, and where the money goes. Only about one in six U.S. public high schools requires a personal finance course.

04

A price defended to a stranger

A real offer to a real person who can say no. Sustained, self-directed work of the kind school engagement data says most teenagers have stopped getting.

05

A pitch delivered in front of your community

Family, your staff and community guests in the room. Each young person presents what they built, what it cost, what they charged and what happens next — in your building, with your name on it.

What happens next

From first email to pitch night.

01

A conversation

Thirty minutes, by phone or video. We learn who your young people are and what you already run, and you find out whether this fits alongside it.

02

A plan on one page

Dates, times, age track, group size, and exactly what each side is responsible for. Short enough that your director can read it in a single sitting.

03

We fill the room together

We give you the invitation, the parent-facing explanation and the sign-up. You send it to the families who already trust you.

04

Eight weeks, then pitch night

Your room, your families, their businesses. We run it and hand you photos and a written recap afterward.

Who this is built for

If young people already gather in your building, this fits.

We work with any organization that has a group of young people and an hour a week. The room matters less than the trust you have already built with those families.

Schools — public, private and charter

As an elective, an advisory block, or an after-school club.

Churches and faith communities

Youth ministry, weeknight programs, summer sessions.

Community and after-school organizations

Mentoring programs, rec centers, libraries, neighborhood nonprofits.

Straight answers

The questions partners ask first.

Is this really free?

Yes. Dreampreneur is a 501(c)(3) and cohorts are funded by the organization and its donors. Your families are never asked for money.

Who is actually teaching?

A Dreampreneur instructor leads every session live. Every adult who works with your young people is background-checked before the first class.

Online, in person, or both?

Sessions run online into your room, with your staff member present. Pitch night happens in person at your site.

How many young people do we need?

Eight to fifteen in one age track. Below eight the room goes quiet; above fifteen the individual attention disappears.

What ages can we host?

Any of the three tracks — 8–10, 11–14 or 15–18. Tell us the age range you have and we will match the track and the timing to it.

How much work is this for our staff?

One person in the room for the hour, and help getting the invitation out. No preparation, no grading, no curriculum to learn.

Tell us about your young people.

Send this over and we will come back to you within two business days to set up a thirty-minute call. Nothing is committed at this stage — plenty of organizations talk to us and decide the timing is wrong, and that is a perfectly good outcome.

Prefer to talk first? Call (713) 678-0013 or email info@dreampreneur.org.

Goes straight to info@dreampreneur.org. We reply within two business days.
